This policy explains what Mentoire (mentoire.com) collects, how we use it, and your choices. Mentoire is operated by MS Holdings, the data controller. We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service.

What we collect

• Account information — your name (or display name), age, email address, and login credentials.
• Your conversations — the messages you send to mentors and the replies, so the Service can respond and remember context within your account.
• Usage & technical data — basic information such as message counts, approximate country (from your IP address, used to show prices in your local currency), and device/browser type for reliability and security.
• Payment information — when you subscribe, payment is handled by Razorpay. We do not store your full card details; we receive only confirmation and subscription status.

How we use it

• To provide and personalise the Service (generate responses, remember your journey, run your membership).
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers we share with

We share the minimum necessary data with trusted providers who help us operate Mentoire:

• AI model providers (e.g. via OpenRouter) — to generate mentor responses from your messages.
• Razorpay — to process payments and subscriptions securely.
• Google — if you choose "Sign in with Google," to verify your identity.
• Voice synthesis — if you use the optional voice feature, to convert text to speech.

We do not sell your personal data or your conversations.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and its data (profile, conversations, journey, programs) from the in-app settings, or by emailing us. Deletion is irreversible. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business needs (e.g. payment records).

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Children

Mentoire is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from them.
